Where We Started
Wildflower came to us with a small footprint and a hidden problem. Its property management system had it categorized as a vacation rental rather than a hotel, which kept it off Google Hotels and out of major OTAs like Expedia and Booking.com. There was no social media presence, and traffic and bookings were both far below where six uniquely designed rooms in a historic building deserved to be.

The Goal
Get Wildflower recognized and presented as what it actually is, a boutique hotel with six distinct room types, not a generic vacation rental. Open the right channels, build the technical foundation, and set up a platform to eventually tell the property's real story instead of competing only on rate.

What We Did
We ran the EscalanteIQ Blueprint first and found the root issue inside the existing Hostaway system rather than recommending a costly PMS switch. From there we launched Wildflower on Expedia and Booking.com, optimized the website for search, answer engines, and geographic visibility, and set up GA4 and Search Console to track real performance. We audited and corrected the Google Business Profile listing, launched an Instagram presence from scratch, and built out a paid media and rate strategy, working around some technical limitations on the retargeting side.

The Work
A look at the website, the Instagram presence, and the OTA listings we built and corrected for the property.

The Results
TripAdvisor referral traffic went from nearly nothing to one of the property's strongest sources of website clicks and OTA visibility. Instagram now drives direct traffic and real bookings on its own. With the foundation in place, the focus is shifting toward storytelling, the building's history, the owners' investment in it, and the character of the fourteener themed rooms, to fill need dates with the right kind of guest.
